“Korean Folk Village is a popular tourist destination for both Koreans and foreigners. The purpose of Korean Folk Village is to display elements of traditional Korean life and culture. There are multiple sections to the park.

The park also has a traditional street market, restaurants, and showcases of traditional woodworking and metalworking techniques. There are performances of traditional dances, equestrian skills, marriage ceremonies, and recreational activities.” (1)

Uthai Thani, Thailand

“Uthai Thani (Thai อุทัยธานี) is one of the provinces (changwat) of Thailand. Neighboring provinces are (from north clockwise)Nakhon Sawan, Chai Nat, Suphan Buri, Kanchanaburi and Tak.

 The province stretches from the upper plains of the Chao Phraya river valley, to mountains covered with forests in the west. TheSakae Krang River, a tributary of the Chao Phraya River is the main river of Uthai Thani province.” (1)

There is the Royal Selangor Pewter Gallery on the western end of Clarke Quay. Walk through the back where pewter-casting demos are running, then  buy the beautiful shiny stuff in the retail cabinets. It also handles pewtersmithing courses.
