“The Maasai Mara National Reserve (also known as Masai Mara)  is  in southwestern, Kenya, contiguous with the Serengeti National Park in Mara Region, on the border of Tanzania.

It is globally famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards and cheetahs, and the annual migration of zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, and wildebeest to and from the Serengeti every year from July to October, known as the Great Migration.” (1)

“All balloon flights begin soon after dawn which gives wonderful views over the Plains and forest of the Masai Mara as the sun lights up the grasslands.” (2)
